Vented Compact Tactical Rail
Simply the most advanced, compact, ergonomic quadrail system available! Its small cross section makes it easy to grasp and control, even with rail covers installed. Fully machined inside and out from a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion. The innovative attachment system allows fast, simple indexing of the top rail, while free-floating the entire barrel. In spite of its small size, there are more than 8 square inches of contact with the barrel nut, creating an extremely strong and rigid joint between the rail and the receiver. The barrel nut is machined from 4130 Chrome-molybdenum alloy steel, for solid steel-on-steel contact with the barrel flange. A torque wrench can be utilized for proper assembly increasing the accuracy potential and eliminating the possibility of the barrel nut working loose, as is common with aluminum barrel nuts. Currently available in Carbine and Mid lengths it has enough internal clearance to be
installed over many low-profile gas blocks if you desire to use a mid length rail on a carbine, completely protecting the gas system.
Aggressive use of venting on all sides allows barrel cooling, and 2 Q-D swivel sockets are provided on each side to increase sling attachment options. Installation is easy, using the included pin wrench for the barrel nut, locks in place with two t-15 Torx screws (wrench also included).
The VECTR rail's low profile design is obvious when viewed side-by-side with a typical competitor's quad rail.

Sling attachment points on both sides provide horizontal or vertical swivel mounting, but do not allow full rotation thereby preventing sling tangles.
